Merman Father's Day Card After taking Jenn Shurkus's class, Mermazing, I can't stop making reveal wheels! Also, since the beach is my happy place (went there this morning ⛱), I can never get enough of ocean cards. My husband loved the cards I made in Jenn's class. I thought it would be awesome to make one for Father's Day. 

Fairies Continued! Today I wanted to share the making of another fairy card. This one is less playful and more whimsical. I love this stamp from Unity Stamp Company, but this is my first time using it. I decided to ink blend the background but watercolor the image. Follow along! Items needed for this card are a card base, a piece of black cardstock, a piece of green cardstock, a piece of heavyweight white cardstock, Distress Oxides and Distress Inks or other color medium, blending brushes or other similar item, a paint brush, water, and masking paper of some sort. I stamped Dragonflies and Fairies stamp onto Tim Holtz Heavyweight White Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I chose the paper because it is bright white and holds up to watercolor and ink blending. I used Versafine since it is waterproof. I stamped the image again on Gina K Masking Magic.  Springtime Fairies I didn't post anything last week. My cat died, so I needed to take some time off. I'm ready to make  some cards now and hopefully help you do the same. To continue with the spring theme, I made this cheerful card for my great niece's birthday.  I love the fairyland that lives hidden in the garden! I inkblended the background and used three Lawn Fawn stamp sets to complete this card. I used Frosty Fairy Friends, Dandy Day, and Fairy Friends. Of course, what 6 year-old's card wouldn't be complete without lots of sparkle!
