I made today's card for my husband. Our anniversary is in two weeks. He likes bright colors, so I hope he likes it! I made this with Spellbinders Delicate Floral Hummingbirds die. I love Spellbinders! Their dies, stamps, and hot foil plates are all such great quality.  This die set has a die and outline die. If you only use the main die, it will cut out the middle without changing the size of your cardstock. Since this is so large, I wanted to cut out the entire image since I didn't want anything larger than 5"x7". Protip: if you want a smaller card front, you can always trim it down. I cut the image from Lawn Fawn Noble Fir cardstock. Then, I took a small blending brush and inked shadows with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink. To make the diecut appear more realistic, I inked at the base of each leaf and in the curves of the vines.  After die cutting all of the layering pieces out of Neenah Classic Crest Cover Solar White 80lb ...

Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸! To celebrate, I made this patriotic card after watching Gina K make a similar one. The 4th has always been a big holiday in our family. I hope you like my card! I began with a 5 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock. I placed a piece of Gina K Masking Magic on top after cutting it with the Gina K Master Layout 11 frame die.  For stars, I used Lawn Fawn Starry Sky Stencil and Prize Ribbon Distress Ink. For stripes, I used My Favorite Things Radiating Ray's stencil and Barn Door Distress Ink. To give a look of dimension, I cut three more frames with the die out of Neenah 80 lb cardstock A2 panels. I glued all three together, then trimmed 1/8" off each side. Once dry, I adhered the frames to the stenciled cardstock.
